First Workshop

In the workshop today our work was mainly based around Trove's database. We were taught how to do different tasks with the URL such as changing the keys in the URL with our own individual API key from Trove that we were made to sign up for. Different applications were used for different things, some applications included Json, UQ Cloud, the course blog and TextEdit. The different components making up the URL were also briefly explained (such as the keys included as well as what &, =, n, s, etc. meant/did) while we were asked to deconstruct each of our own unique URLs.
After this we worked at our own pace through either the Illustrator or Photoshop assigned tutorials online to help enhance our current skills. Unfortunately I forgot to save my work on Illustrator because i was rushing for some reason. Even though the tutor reminded us several times so we could post it here on our blogs. Luckily, i was literally just drawing shapes on the canvas anyway (the first few tutorials are really basic).

This was the only photo I took today of the URL so i could continue working on the tutorials at home, and even though its not much i feel that it should be shared in todays post because i have the tendency to document everything.
